Went out yesterday afternoon and had a big plate of sketti and meatballs.  First cooked meal I’ve had in a nearly a week.  Got a good nights sleep, no wind gusts, no snapping lines, no rocking.  Now it’s time to get back to work.

From what I’ve been able to gather, the Keys got the very least of the storm.  Most of the bad stuff hit along the southeast coast of Florida.  They had lots more rain, power outages, and some property damage.  The worst I heard about down here was my neighbors running out of beer on Sunday.  Tragic.  New Orleans is next.  Just what they need.  Won’t be as bad as Katrina but still.

As for here on the blog I am going to pick up where I left off on the liveaboard series.  I have about 3 or 4 more subjects to post about and then on to other things.  If you are interested in living on a boat you have to admit, this month was a fun filled info fest with a lot more insight than I intended.  There must be some interest out there.  This past Sunday had one of the highest number of visitors to the site since I started this thing.  And I thank both of you for stopping by.

So, in the meantime, on with the show…
