No, it’s not an euphemism for being sexually abused in Pa.  FOAP is an neat little app which allows all us budding photographers to maybe make a buck or two.

A quick tip of the Tilly to Rich in Joisey for sending me the link to this sure to be a money making enterprise. The concept is pretty simple and easy to set up.

FOAP allows you to upload your images to your account on the app by way of your smartphone.  Add some captions and tags and your images are now available to be sold as stock photos to anyone with $10 burning a hole in their pocket.  If you do sell an image, and you can sell the same image over and over again, FOAP gets $5 and  you get $5.  Money goes into your Paypal account to spent on all the hookers and blow you can afford.

If you are a prospective buyer of stock photography you can go in and browse all the images, search by keyword, select the ones you want, buy them and use them for whatever cunning plans you may have.

It’s a pretty easy concept and you don’t have to be a professional photographer to post anything.  Whether any of your fine images actually sell is up to the market but hey, it beats just leaving them sit in some dusty old folder on your computer.

I got my account set up and grabbed a couple dozen photos from the back log here on the Fritter.  Some manatee shots, sunsets of course, some boats, and beaches.  Uploaded them, added in the required caption/keywords, answered some minor legal questions (stay away from any photos which show anybody’s face) and I’m are off and running.

Go check it out through the links.  The app is available for iOS as well as Android.  It don’t take long to set up and it’s free.  Only time you pay is when you sell something.  Another good example of passive income…I hope.

Thanks again Rich!
