Everytime I go down to see a sunset here it just keeps getting more better.  This time I made my way down through the park and along the small hiking trails all the way to the Kihei boat ramp.  From there the trail continues until it reaches a local resort.

One of the nice things about Hawaii is all the beaches are open to everyone.  No resort/development/private land owner is allowed to deny access to said beaches, unlike a certain state in the south east on the mainland.  It’s very refreshing to know just because somebody has money, they don’t have the power to restrict the great unwashed from accessing these beautiful coast lines.

Whilst walking down through the park there was a sunset wedding going on.  I didn’t get there in time to stop it.  The poor unlucky bastard.  Another one bites the dust.  Oh well, on with the sunset.

Look very close and you can see a sailboat right in line with the sunset.

  1. Beautiful photos. Regarding the wedding – “the first part of a two part funeral”.

and people there DO seem to pick up their trash too. or they don’t drop it in the first place.
