This blog could use a little color. We haven’t had any sunshine in two days because of a large rain storm which has been passing over the islands. It’s still warm but overcast, cloudy, and gloomy. Winter just follows me no matter where I go it seems. Anyways, no sunshine, no sunsets, but it’s gonna pass over quickly and we’ll get back to normal here.
In the meantime, I got some decent shots of some blooming plumeria. Plumeria are very popular flowers here in the islands. They grow all over the place and most of you would recognize them as the flowers the local wimmen put in their hair. Even Hawaiian Airlines uses said wimmen with said flowers in it’s logo.
So, since all of you on the cold, freezing mainland are suffering through another chilly spell, here are some shots of some local flowering plumeria here in Kihei to help make your winter more better.
And no, in case you are wondering. I don’t have flowers in my hair. Fleas, ticks, lice, and dandruff maybe, but no flowers.
